A waterproof layer is laminated onto a carrier to construct the REV’IT! hydratex|Z-liner membrane. The carrier, in turn, protects the membrane against wear-and-tear damage, and the seams of the membrane are taped to ensure waterproofing. The Z- liner is constructed between the lining and the outer shell. The REV’IT! hydratex|Z-liner membrane is used in garments that demand a high level of all-weather protection.

The Dartwood Waterproof shoes are totally waterproof, owing to the inclusion of the T-DRY waterproof membrane. The upper is made of full-grain leather, and safety is guaranteed by reinforcements on the toe and heel and by ankle protection inserts in D3O®, a material that has the ability to become rigid in the event of a collision, thus protecting the foot only when necessary. We developed the Pulse H2O motorcycle boots for the more sport-orientated asphalt rider; a rider who likes to combine their footwear with, for example, textile trousers. Taking hints from running shoes (laminated reinforcements), we merged the Pulse H2O with motorcycle functionality resulting in a technical and unibody upper; made from high-density polyester to promote lightweight and breathability of the upper. As mentioned, we included the top-level GORE-TEX waterproof membrane that provides 100% waterproofing while staying breathable at the same time; keeping your feet fresh in any temperature. To protect your feet from impacts, we constructed these motorcycle boots with protective reinforcements at the heel and ankle combined with a protective toe cap. Grip on the pegs and pavement is ensured by our durable in-house developed rubber sole. All-day comfort on and off the bike is provided by the high-tech OrthoLite® insole.

The Astro Riding Shoes from REV’IT! blend moto-centric rider features into the style of a techy athletic high top. With the exception of the 3D air mesh toe covering, the Astro Shoes use nubuck leather for the entire upper. Side panels are perforated. Thermoformed heel and ankle protectors are built into the boot’s upper to protect the rider during a gravity penalty on the bike or on the courts. A thermoformed cap on the inside of the toe is mirrored by a leather shifter pad on the exterior. OrthoLite engineers the X40 insole for on- and off-the-bike comfort that is cushier than a foul line dunk.

Look closely and you’ll notice these boots employ the BOA® Fit System with M4 dial at the laces. You simply turn the dial for micro-adjustment – push in to engage, twist to tighten, and pull for fast release. So, even when it’s wet and cold, with your gloves on, you can still dial up or down to your preferred fit in a few ticks. Their durability means year after year, you twist again like you did last summer.
