Lazer MH7 Matt Black Helmet

An AGV icon, evolving towards perfection. K3 is AGV’s full-face road helmet that takes all the characteristics of a versatile, safe helmet to outstanding levels.

It offers safety for all, at the highest levels – the shell made of high-resistance thermoplastic material, the multi-density EPS and the details such as the collarbone-protection profile and the protective visor allow K3 to obtain the strict ECE22.06 homologation. Due to the AGV Extreme Safety construction protocol, K3 meets the requirements of the most recent international standards and then some.

Its strength lies in its versatility. K3 is designed to put in its best performance in all situations. The built-in sun visor, which can be operated conveniently with gloves on, assists when it’s too bright, and doesn’t block the front ventilation when it’s in the rest position. The Pinlock Max Vision antifog system guarantees maximum visibility even on the wettest and coldest days, when the temperature difference between the environment and the inside of the helmet could cause the visor to fog up dangerously. Not with K3. The Ultravision visor also guarantees a 190° horizontal field of vision, so you can see obstacles, the road and everything in front of you earlier and better. K3 is prepared for the installation of communication systems. The Eyewear Ready interior design allows you to comfortably wear your eyeglasses or sunglasses while riding.

Comfort boosts performance. The aerodynamic profile of the K3 is designed to achieve a dynamic weight of zero at a cruising speed of 130 km/h. It means lower weight and less strain on the neck muscles, for maximum concentration on riding. The interiors, made of 2DRY material with rapid absorption of sweat and moisture, can be customized, to personalize the fit to the full and maximize how comfortable it feels. The ventilation achieves maximum efficiency through the air vents at the front and on the chin, precise and easy to operate with gloves on.

The helmet created for MotoGP™ is now available to every rider. Pista GP RR is an exact replica of the AGV helmet used in races by world champions. It has therefore received the new FIM homologation, which certifies the highest possible level of protection, even against any dangerous twisting of the head. Due to the exclusive AGV Extreme Safety design protocol, Pista GP RR already exceeds the requirements of the strict ECE22.06 homologation. Every detail is designed to ensure ultimate performance. The Extreme Carbon shell in 100% carbon fiber guarantees extraordinary lightness, which makes it effortless to wear. Its shapes and metal air vents are studied in the wind tunnel and tested by AGV athletes in order to ensure the best aerodynamic penetration and the greatest stability at high speeds, also due to the innovative profile of the rear PRO Spoiler. Boasting 5 mm thickness, the Optical Class 1 Ultravision visor is an integral part of the protector that allows 190° panoramic vision, and 85° vertical vision. This means the rider sees the track, adversaries, and obstacles more clearly, before anyone else, even in racing position tucked into the frame. The exclusive 360° Adaptive Fit system allows for complete customization of the interior, giving the rider the possibility to select the ideal thickness for the upper part of the head, nape, and cheeks. This essential level of comfort leaves the rider free to concentrate on nothing but their goal. Every detail is designed with winning in mind. The Perfection of Obsession.

The helmet created for MotoGP™ is now available to every rider also in this never seen before replica graphic.

This livery is the replica of the one worn during the Sepang tests in November 2004. Rossi was fresh from what might have been the best season of his career, when he won on a new bike for the first time, leading Yamaha to their first victory in the premier class since 1992. The idea of the Dash graphic was born to celebrate a splendid season, using a logo that had entered into Italian homes through television, just as Valentino had been doing for a few years. The slogan from the famous detergent brand “Dash, it doesn’t get any whiter” became for the occasion “Rossi, it doesn’t get any faster”.
Besides the big colorful logo, the shell of the AGV Ti-Tech helmet also had a small number 1 on the front which celebrated the world championship title: the fourth consecutive win and sixth win total for the Italian from Pesaro. The back of the helmet features a little washing machine with a small instruction manual on how to win all class championships, at 46°C of course. Then there are the ever-present sun and moon, elements that distinguish Valentino’s helmets since the beginning of his career.
Only 2,005 of these replica helmets will be produced.
Each helmet will be delivered with a dedicated pack containing a letter written by Valentino Rossi. In the letter, he explains firsthand the ideas that led to the creation of the graphic, and he shares memories and emotions generated by the specific race he wore it at.
Replica number 46 of this graphic will be given to Valentino for his private collection. Fans, collectors, and enthusiasts won’t want to miss this unbeatable opportunity to own, wear, and preserve a unique piece from the history of MotoGP that tells the legend of one of the greatest athletes in the history of this sport.
